Every tutoring session is tailored to your chemistry course, current challenges, and learning goals. I review your materials in advance so we can spend our time working through difficult concepts, practicing problems, and building your confidence. After each session, you'll receive a concise summary of what we covered, along with support for brief chemistry questions between appointments.
PREPARATION BEFORE EVERY SESSION
To make the most of our time together, please submit your course materials, assignments, or questions at least 24 hours before your appointment. This allows me to review the material and prepare a session focused on your specific needs.
PERSONALIZED, ONE-ON-ONE INSTRUCTION
During our 60-minute sessions, we'll focus on the chemistry concepts and problem-solving skills you need most. Whether you're preparing for an exam, working through challenging assignments, or strengthening your understanding, instruction is tailored to your course and learning pace.

Learning doesn't stop when your session ends. After each appointment, you'll receive a concise summary of the concepts we covered and recommendations for continued practice. You're also welcome to reach out with brief chemistry questions between sessions.

I'm Lindsey Wilson, founder of Serene Science Tutoring. With 13 years of classroom chemistry teaching experience and more than 1,000 students taught, I bring extensive subject knowledge and teaching expertise to every session.
I hold a B.S. in Biology and an M.Ed. in Science Education. My experience has taught me where students commonly struggle, how to make challenging concepts more approachable, and how to adapt instruction to individual learning needs.

I've helped students navigate chemistry courses at UC Santa Barbara, including Chem 1A, 1B, and 1C, as well as OnRamps Chemistry through The University of Texas. I also support students in Honors Chemistry, AP Chemistry, dual enrollment, and introductory college chemistry courses.

All tutoring sessions are 60 minutes and tailored to your individual chemistry course and learning needs. Choose a single session for targeted support or a prepaid package for ongoing guidance throughout the semester. Packages offer a reduced per-session rate for students who plan to meet regularly.
SINGLE TUTORING SESSION — $125
One 60-minute private chemistry tutoring session, ideal for targeted help with challenging concepts, assignments, or exam preparation.
2-SESSION PACKAGE — $240
Two 60-minute private chemistry tutoring sessions at $120 per session. Ideal for students who want additional practice, reinforcement of challenging concepts, or preparation for an upcoming exam.
5-SESSION PACKAGE — $575
Five 60-minute private chemistry tutoring sessions at $115 per session. Ideal for students seeking consistent support with coursework, challenging concepts, and exam preparation throughout the semester.
8-SESSION PACKAGE — $880
Eight 60-minute private chemistry tutoring sessions at $110 per session. Ideal for students who want regular, structured support throughout the semester while building confidence and strengthening their chemistry skills.
10-SESSION PACKAGE — $1,050
Ten 60-minute private chemistry tutoring sessions at $105 per session. Ideal for students seeking consistent, long-term support throughout the semester while strengthening their understanding and problem-solving skills.
All tutoring packages are prepaid, nonrefundable, and nontransferable. Sessions must be used by the end of the semester in which the package is purchased. Appointments are subject to availability.
